Here I am Sunday evening, getting ready for the Hymns of Thanksgiving with Dave Dillon. He and his wife Nina are moving to Seattle, and this will be his last year in the choir. He and I have sat on the back row of the choir (cause we're tall) for 3 years running. We will miss you Dave!

This is Sunday morning, two days after I took the picture of the deer. Yes, Fall has passed, and winter is here. This will soon be our sledding hill, first snow on our louge run. Bring the kids, hot chocolate and some warm clothes!

Fall in Garden Valley, these deer were grazing in the meadow behind our house, always a beautiful time of year.

Well from the rodeo arena, to the basketball courts, time just keeps on going. Kuna middle school started their season and just like that, they are down to a handful of games.

Macy and gramma and grampa, just a couple more games and then their season is over.

Here I am with my 2009 vest. Ruth and I, together, Linda had a junior jammers concert for Bailey, so she couldn't be with us.

Saturday night, I went to Marsing to the awards banquet for the girls rodeo association. Here are some of the rodeo kids. Great awards, and a potluck dinner too.

Here is another, 'action' photo, by Kari Stetson, this was actually while I was announcing the Pre-show, junior rodeo.

A friend of mine, Mike Stetson, who works for the PressTribune Newspaper in Caldwell, anyway, his wife Kari, took this picture of me last summer at a rodeo(Caldwell Night Rodeo, Jr Show) I was about to announce.
On November 22, I will be participating in the Hymns of Thanksgiving Choir. Here I am, Sunday evening by the orchestra's kettle drums with drummer Mona and her friend. Although we look like we're a little crazy, we have some beautiful pieces, and Gov. Butch Otter and his wife are the narrators.

Busy weekend, Saturday night I had to DJ a dance in Emmet at the high school. Everything went well, these two girls rodeo, and are Gem county rodeo queens.

Kids, don't try this at home, this is a trained professional on a closed course. Saturday afternoon, and chores at home include getting rid of pine needles. So we added some starter helper and a ten foot fuse of gasoline and 'boom' goes the dynomite! Smores anyone? You can see mom in the background gathering more fuel for the fire. Jeff took over as photographer and loved the whole fire thing.

Our Saturday morning started with a service project at the church, raking leaves, followed by our family assignment to clean the indoors of the chapel. So, we raked and raked and raked, till there were no more leaves. Jeff Hessing came and helped rake, then he and I sang a duet with the choir on Sunday morning.

In preparation for the upcoming winter snow storms and Christmas visits from all the grandchildren, I have built my own tubing run, a la the Winter Olympics. So here is the run prior to any snow. Every one is invited to come tubing this winter, and hopefully this will increase the speed and accuracy of each tube run! So, let it snow baby, let it snow!!!
